| Well after dealing with that irritating vtc spring tick or whatever you want to call it I decided to take action, and ordered some JWT hi-pressure springs from SPL parts. Then I started thinking, "Since I have to remove the fan shroud, fan, water pipes.... perfect time for a koyo!" so I get on AIM and start bugging Coz. Thursday afternoon UPS leaves this at my door.
I was impressed by the quality of the koyo, very sturdy neck also. Bling factor helps too. Thanks SPL
I'm ready doctor......

I started looking at the shroud and timing covers, they're ugly, I might as well spray them body color now that they're going to be off.

So much space in there now....

Sanding the covers

Primed

Color shot and ready for clear

If you ever though clear coat was....um..... clear, you're wrong this one was piss yellow. There are other one that are clearer though.

Koyo is about 2.x times wider than stock, also took about 2.7 gallons to fill up.

Putting it back together

CZP bracket installed, final outcome is very nice with the cobalt green and polished/chrome look.
